ABILITY Awareness -- ABILITY Awareness is a non profit organization dedicated to building a world of inclusion for people with health conditions and disabilities.  ABILITY Build is our hallmark program which engages volunteers with health conditions and disabilities to build accessible low-income homes.

ABILITY Jobs -- ABILITY Jobs is the largest stand-alone resume bank for people with disabilities.  We help companies fulfill their affirmative action compliance requirements and are committed to expanding awareness about this job site to as many companies as possible.

Ableize Disability Resources Directory -- A disability directory of UK adult and children's disability services. Includes advice and information, access, education, recreation and sports, plus the arts and detailed information on specific disabilities.

ALSA of CT -- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association of Connecticut. This non-profit organization  is dedicated to helping people live with and eradicate ALS (Lou Gehrig's) disease.

Assistive Technology Net -- The National Public Website on Assistive Technology.

Brain Injury Association of Connecticut -- Connecticut's Brain Injury Association.

Connect-Ability -- Connect-Ability strives to identify and remove barriers to employment faced by people with disabilities. Connect-Ability has two primary customers: 1. Employers of all sizes and in all industries who are seeking qualified workers. 2. People with disabilities of all ages who are seeking employment for the first time or who want a new challenge.  Our program does not directly provide services to match individuals with specific jobs. Instead, our efforts are targeted at removing the barriers which keep our primary customers from finding one another. These barriers include, but are not limited to, low expectations, the transition from school to work, inadequate transportation, and the actual process of recruitment, hiring, and retention.

Connecticut Association of Centers for Independent Living (CACIL)

Connecticut Disability Advocacy Collaborative (CDAC) -- Connecticut Disability Advocacy Collaborative is a new statewide organization of cross-disability groups which seeks to advocate for disability-specific legislation. It has regional organizations in many parts of the state.

Connecticut State Independent Living Council (CTSILC) -- The mission of the Connecticut State Independent Living Council is to promote choice, equal access, opportunity, and full inclusion of people with disabilities in the economic, political, social, cultural, and educational mainstream of American Society.  We see a Connecticut where all people are respected, accepted and valued, have a range of choices and are free from barriers that limit them from fully participating in society.

Disability.gov -- The federal government’s website for people with disabilities, their family members, veterans, caregivers, employers and others features comprehensive information about disability-related programs and services, as well as social media tools to better serve the more than 50 million Americans with disabilities.

Disabilities Network of Eastern Connecticut (DNEC) -- The Disabilities Network of Eastern Connecticut is dedicated to supporting and advancing the rights of individuals with disabilities.  It is our goal to create a completely inclusive society where people live together in communities regardless of their abilities. 

The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut, Inc. -- The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut will ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research. Helping people with epilepsy through information, education, advocacy and support.

Equipment Recycling ( usedHME.com ) -- Equipment Recycling ( usedHME.com ) is a FREE listing service where people can buy, sell, or find donated Used Home Medical Equipment. Our goal is to get this equipment into the hands of those less fortunate. Assistive Equipment that can be found: mobility scooters, powerchairs, stairlifts, liftchairs, wheelchair accessible vans, and much more.

Independence Northwest --  Northwest Connecticut Independent Living Center.

The National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) -- The National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) enables people with spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) to achieve their highest level of independence, health, and personal fulfillment by providing resources, services, and peer support.

The New England Assistive Technology Marketplace (NEAT) -- NEAT provides information and access to equipment and devices that can change the lives of people of all ages, with all types of disabilities, both temporary and permanent. We operate under the auspices of Oak Hill, a 109 year old non-profit organization located in Hartford, CT.

Sail Access of Connecticut -- Accessible Sailing in Connecticut.

Tardive Dyskinesia Center -- Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) is a movement disorder resulting from damage to the bodily systems that process dopamine, and is usually caused by exposure to certain neurological medications - including metoclopramide. The symptoms of TD, which are irreversible and incurable, mimic those of Parkinsons Disease. Our organization features the most up-to-date information on TD, its causes and all known treatment options for those with TD and their caregivers. Additionally, we distribute free wristbands to all of our users in hopes of raising TD awareness.

UK Stairlifts -- Extensive UK-based site where one can learn about and purchase stairlifts.
